Our freestanding Rope Bound Wooden Dummy, carefully hand crafted by us here in the UK using high quality timber. These dummies have rope bound around the areas on the body that will be hit. Therefore no further pads are needed as it can be hit hard in these areas.Very independent and stand alone anywhere on a flat surface/floor. No extra weights are required as it is a very stable with a little “feedback” which is excellent for Wing Chun training. It cannot be knocked to the ground whilst practising the Wing Chun form. Each of our bespoke dummies are individually carefully hand crafted and tailor made to each customers height and specifications, therefore maximum benefit is achieved for the practitioner towards their Wing Chun training. We build them using high quality timber ensuring a long lasting wooden dummy. Also a selection colours are available to suit the customers preference.  Making you your perfect custom made training partner. The Body

The body is constructed from the finest hand selected timber. This ensures a strong long lasting high quality dummy body. We hand pick the timber to ensure that only high quality and beautiful timbers are being used, the result is a very attractive and beautiful Wooden Dummy body. Thick rope is bound to the body in the “impact areas” for padding. The square holes are are all correctly placed and cut according to your selected linage/specifications, ensuring you get that correct “clack” sound when training.

 

The Arms

The arms are constructed from the finest timber. We make sure all arms are hand made from timber which is strong enough to withstand the force of the strikes/movements placed upon them. They are Hand turned on a lathe for a perfect taper and sizes according to the practitioners selected lineage/specifications.

 

The Leg

The leg is carefully laminated from quality timber to construct a very strong leg. Also built to the selected lineage/sizes.

 

The Stand

For a freestanding Wooden dummy it is very important for the stand to be to be strong,secure and heavy enabling maximum stability. We have a choice of three stands for the customer to select. All of them are built using high quality timber and are extremely strong and secure.
